You may find that the ringing of incoming calls on Messenger during busy times is distracting and interrupting your work. Or maybe the call is coming from an unwanted person. However, they cannot be blocked, nor can the call be rejected.

By adopting this setting, you may miss an important call at times. This option is suitable for you when you are suffering from incoming calls in messenger or a browser.
Your laptop will not get a call notification if this option is selected. Or let’s say the incoming tone does not play. However, you can find out from which person the call came after the call was disconnected. If it is an important call, you can call back later.
Use this setting to prevent someone’s call notification on the laptop’s messenger.
- First of all, open Facebook in the browser on the laptop. If you are not logged in to Facebook, log in.
- Then click on the Messenger icon on the top right.
- Then click on the 3 dots at the top of the messenger box.
- Then disable the incoming call sound.
- Another section can be seen there. You can choose how long the notification will be turned off.
If you select the option of Until I turn on, you will not be disturbed by calls from someone while you are online or you do not know.
